Scouts (Coed Youth - Ages 11 to 14)

The Scouts program emphasizes having fun while encouraging youth to feel good about themselves, their friends and family, and the environment. Through the Scouting program, youth expand their leadership skills and gain self-confidence.

Scout motto: “BE PREPARED”

Make a difference

For over 100 years, Scouts Canada has brought memorable firsts to more than 17 million Canadian youth. More opportunities than you can imagine await you — experiences that can shape the person you want to be. You’ll get real life, hands-on experience and learn from supportive and experienced leaders. When you join Scouts plan on working as part of a team, making friends, and making a difference. It all starts with Scouts.

A world of adventure

Our programs are exciting, adventurous and provide opportunities to practice new skills. You’ll learn what it means to be part of the natural world and the global family of Scouts. You’ll have the chance to make your mark doing things like participating in community service projects, protecting the environment, or helping others learn a new skill.
